Después de la gira del espectáculo Réquiem que ha recibido el Premio Especial del Jurado de la Mostra de Teatre de Barcelona, la compañía estrena en el Carme Teatre de Valencia su nueva producción de teatro gestual.

Soñar el río hasta el mar es una reflexión incisiva e irónica sobre la soledad que dibuja el retrato de un hombre ordinario que sueña con lo imposible: olvidar su vida mediocre y sus fracasos, acceder por fin al mundo de la gente que existe. Seguir el río de sus sueños hasta el mar, hasta la libertad. Pero, ¿será capaz de llevar su proyecto a cabo? ¿Conseguirá ser el hombre que todos esperan?

Soñar el río hasta el mar és una reflexió incisiva e irònica sobre la solitud que dibuixa el retrat d’un home ordinari que somnia amb el impossible: oblidar la seva vida mediocre i els seus fracassos, accedir per fi al món de la gent que existeix. Seguir al riu dels seus somnis fins el mar, fins la llibertat. Però, serà capaç de dur a terme el seu projecte? Aconseguirà ser l’home que tothom espera?

After touring with its previous show, Requiem, and winning the Jury´s Special Award of the Mostra de Teatre de Barcelona, Moveo Teatro presents its latest physical theatre production in Valencia (Spain).

Soñar el río hasta el mar is an incisive and ironic reflection about solitude which draws the portrait of an ordinary man who dreams about the impossible.

It is the story of a man whose life resembles a mirror smashed to smithereens. He is lonely and hides in a miserable room of a dirty, poor hotel after a “big coup”: he has attacked a bank and is planning to run away together with the woman neighbour from upstairs. His wish: to forget his mediocre life and his failures, to finally be part of the world of the people who exist and to follow the river of his dreams to the sea, to freedom. But will he be able to reach his aim? To be the man who everybody expects him to be?
